Luxor Day Trip Itinerary – What to Expect

1. Hotel Pickup in Hurghada 🚌

Your Luxor adventure begins early at 4:30 AM with pickup from your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus. Enjoy a scenic drive through the stunning Egyptian desert, with a short stop along the way for refreshments and a quick break.

2. Karnak Temple – The Largest Temple Complex in the World 🏛️

Arrive in Luxor at approximately 9:30 AM and start your journey with a visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple. Explore the famous Hypostyle Hall with its 134 giant columns and discover over 2,000 years of ancient Egyptian history in one of the most impressive religious sites ever built.

3. Traditional Egyptian Lunch 🍽️

Enjoy a delicious open-buffet lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant. Vegetarian options are available upon request.

4. Valley of the Kings – Explore the Tombs of the Pharaohs 👑

Cross to the West Bank of the Nile and visit the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs, including King Tutankhamun. Explore three royal tombs adorned with remarkably preserved hieroglyphics and colorful ancient artwork.

Optional: Entry to King Tutankhamun’s Tomb is available for an additional fee of $10 per person.

5. Colossi of Memnon – The Twin Giants 🗿
